This wonderful bridge is located right down the road from The Golden Pineapple. Rowell Bridge Hopkinton, New Hampshire 1853 Built in 1853 for 00.25 by Horace Childs of Henniker, this long tress and burr arch covered bridge crosses the Contoocook River in West Hopkinton. Shortly after construction it was knocked off its abutments by a herd of cattle and needed to be refastened.
